Where do I fit in?
Naturally, FID is primarily interested in candidates with backgrounds in accounting and commitments to the profession. Opportunities at FID are both full-time and seasonal. We have tax and audit internships for accounting students and we are regularly seeking accounting graduates who are eager to start a professional career as a CPA. The more seasoned CPA professional should know we are always growing and building the expertise of our tax, audit and consulting practices, so if you are seeking a new opportunity, we would be excited to learn more about your project management skills and career goals.
In addition, whether you are a CPA or not, if you are knowledgeable and experienced with small business accounting, we have a robust client accounting department that looks for committed team members.
Accounting Students
Real-life experience makes you a more competitive job candidate when you finish your accounting program, so we offer internships to aspiring individuals. Our ideal intern candidates are accounting graduate students or seniors majoring in accounting. Peak demand occurs in our busy season, so we offer part-time tax internships from January through April. However, the diversity of projects and circumstances might require talent at nearly any time. Recent Graduates
You have worked to achieve a solid academic record. You are a candidate for FID’s staff if you are ready to take on some serious teamwork, pass the CPA exam, learn the actual process of the accounting business, and start acquiring some expertise and relationships.
